    Hi Phil,

Since user logins are created the first time someone accesses the app, if a user logs into the app for the first time for Event A with password 123456, and then that same user later gets added to Event B in the same app, their password will remain 123456.  It sounds like that's what's happening in this case.

If you want to ensure that all of your users passwords for a specific event are completely reset (wiping any password they used for a past event in the same app), you can select the option for 'reset ALL users passwords' under the Actions dropdown menu on the attendee list in the CMS.

We are a security company and I cannot add everyone with the same password.

They need to be different. So, how do I go about giving people unique passwords and having them actually work if they have already used the app before?

Does everyone need to 'Reset Password'?

    Hi Will,

When you add your attendees into the CMS for any given event, you can set individual passwords for each attendee (the easiest way to do this if you're importing via the template is to use the RANDOM function to generate a random password).  For any new users to your app, they'll be able to use the password you assign them, and then if you have users who have accessed a previous event in your app they'll need to use their previous password.

In either case, they'll always be able to use the 'reset password' functionality on the login screen if they're unsure what password to use.
