The Travel Info feature allows you to import hotel and flight information within the CMS and display the information to your attendees in the app.
Enabling the Travel Info Extension
To enable Travel Info, go to the Discover More tab of the CMS, then click on 'Install Now' on the corresponding box. You will then have a new section called "Travel Info" within your event.
Importing Travel Information
To import travel information for your attendees, go to the Content tab of the CMS and click on the "Travel Info" section.
Next, click on 'Open Bulk Import Admin'.
Next, click to download the templates for flights and hotels.
Once you've filled out the template(s), select 'Choose File' and import the file back into the CMS. You should see a message letting you know when the import has successfully completed.
Note: only attendees that have been added to the attendee list can be included on the import templates. Also, the "type" field must only include "hotel" or "flight" only (in lowercase), and the dates must follow the dates column header format. Otherwise, an error message will appear upon import.
Viewing Travel Information in the CMS
All attendee travel/hotel information that has been imported will appear in the "Current Assigned Users" section. To view an attendee's information, click 'View'.
On another page, you will then see the information for that attendee.
Viewing Travel Information in the App
Attendees can view their hotel and/or flight information by going to the "Travel Info" section in the app.
Note: the weather information populates based on where the attendee's departing flight is arriving.
