The DoubleDutch team is pleased to announce the following Event Registration enhancements:
Add Exhibitors to events and highlight on registration pages.
Add Sponsors to events and highlight on registration pages.
"Mark as Paid" has now been replaced with the "Add Payment" feature. Add Payment allows event organizers to apply payments to orders with a positive balance. You then have the ability to add credit card information or select Check as the payment type and submit the payment.
Check, Cash, and Skip payment options are now available when adding line items to orders.
When adding items or payments, if selecting Check as the payment type, event organizers can also add a note (e.g. Check #). The check note will then appear on the Transactions tab of the order.
Partially Paid Orders
Orders with a positive balance will now show as partially paid. While viewing an order list you can filter by "Partially Paid". The Partially Paid status will also appear under order reporting.
Order Transactions Updates
All order actions, including override item price, removing and adding order items, cancel, and partial and full refund will be recorded in the order Transactions tab.
Order Transactions User
When changes are made to an order, the email address of the user that made the change will appear under the "User" column of the Transactions tab. This works with Order Created, Add Items, Add Payment, and Override Item Price.
Order Filtering Updates
There are two new filter options under lists of orders:
- Has Balance
- Has No Balance
These two options also appear under order reporting.
Custom Label for Check Payment Type
Under Advanced Options, event organizers can now edit the name of check payments to say something other than "check". For instance, you may want to change this field to say "folio" or "invoice".
Override Item Price
This allows event organizers to change the price of any existing paid item in an order. The difference in the new and updated price will be accounted for in the order balance.
