As an option, you can allow attendees to decline invites. To set this up, first, go to the Advanced Options section of your event.
Under "Invites" make sure the "Allow to Decline" option is checked.
Add the Decline Option to Campaigns and Invitations
Next, create an invitation. Once you get to the "Content" tab, you should see a button that says "Decline".
You can change the text of the button by clicking on 'Edit', clicking on the button, and then inputting your text under "Button Text".
Complete the Invitation creation process and send out your invite when ready.
Declining the Invite
Once the recipient receives the invite email, if they click on the 'Decline' button they will be taken to a form with their information pre-populated.
Clicking on 'Confirm' will officially decline the invite.
Additionally, the recipient will receive a confirmation email as well.
Viewing the List of Declined Invites
To view the list of individuals that have declined invites:
- From the main menu, click on Events, then select one of your events.
- Click on the "Invites" section, then "Invites" again.
- Under the "Status" column, you will see the list of declined invites.
