The DD Reg Manager app allows you to check in attendees in two ways:
- Tickets: check in attendees that have arrived at the event or are looking to pick up additional ticket items like drink tickets or parking tickets that they've purchased.
- Sessions: check in attendees into sessions.
To access the check-in options in the app, tap on the 'Check In' button at the bottom of the Dashboard.
Ticket Check-ins
To check in an attendee for an event, on the "Tickets" tab, select the person that you are wanting to check in. Two options will appear:
- Edit: allows you to edit the attendee's first or last name.
- Check In: processes the check-in.
Tap 'Check In' to check in the attendee to the event.
Additionally, you can check in attendees by scanning their physical badge using the barcode scanner. Just tap the icon with barcode and magnifying glass and a viewfinder window will open. Hover the viewfinder over the attendee's badge to check them in.
Note: some attendees will appear as duplicates, but these are actually attendees who have purchased multiple ticket types. For instance, an attendee may have purchased a general admission ticket and a parking ticket. Therefore, they would show up twice in the attendee list.
Printing Attendee Labels
Once you've checked in an attendee you will then have the option to print out their name label. To learn about creating badges and name labels, click here. Re-tap on the attendee and then tap 'Print' to print the label.
Note: before you can begin printing labels, you will need to set up a printer via Printer Options under the gear icon of the My Events section.
Session Check-ins
You can also check in attendees for sessions under the "Check In" section. Just tap on the 'Sessions' tab and all sessions for your event will appear.
Tap on a session name to show all the attendees that have ordered that session. Then, tap on the attendee's name that you'd like to check in and tap 'Check In'.
