Once you have your event registration page created, you will want to promote your event to registrants. DoubleDutch Registration offers two easy ways to get the word out about your event: email campaigns and social media sharing. Both can be accessed under the "Promote" section of the left-hand navigation once you click on the event name from your event list.
To access the list of emails sent, click 'Campaigns' under the Promote menu. Here you will see the name of the campaign, the number of recipients, when the email was sent, how many individuals opened the email, and how many clicked on it.
You can also view further information by clicking on the options under Actions:
- Report: view a summary of the campaign
- Preview: view a preview of the email as it will appear to recipients on their devices
- Copy: create a duplicate of the campaign
Additionally, at any time from the campaign list for your event, you can create an additional campaign by clicking on 'Add Campaign'. For more information on creating campaigns, click here.
The other way to promote your event within DoubleDutch Registration is via Social Networks, also located under the "Promote" section.
DD Registration offers the following direct sharing to the following social media sites:
To create your marketing post, click the logo with the 'Create' text underneath it. Then you can select whether or not you'd like to include a message with your post or just a picture. If you decide to include a user message a default message will appear, but you can customize this as needed.
Upon clicking 'Post to...' you will be prompted to authorize DD Reg access to your social media accounts. After authorization, your marketing message will post!
