If you have Waitlisting enabled, registrants will still be able to order tickets/registrations and/or activities, however, they will be placed on a wait list until more quantities become available.

When a Ticket/Registration Type or Activity has sold out, the button on the order form will change to "Join Wait List". Registrants can click on this and be walked through the normal order process to join the wait list.
Registrants that join the wait list will receive confirmation upon completing the order form, and will receive an email confirmation as well.
Managing Your Wait List
You will be able to manage your wait list from the "Wait List" section, under the "Manage" menu of your event.
To "release" a spot to a registrant on the list, you can click on 'View' and then select 'Release' in the upper right-hand corner. This will send a new confirmation to the registrant letting them know that a spot has opened up.
You can also export your Wait List by going to 'Events' from the main menu, clicking 'Reports', then selecting 'Wait List' and 'Export to CSV'.
Note: admins will need to manually manage the release of spots. If a spot opens up, registrants will not receive an automatic notification. Registrants can keep checking the order form, or the admin will need to check the quantity of their ticket/registration types or activities. Only upon releasing the spot to a registrant will the individual receive notification that they can book an open spot. Additionally, admins can overbook ticket/registration types and activities as needed by releasing spots to registrants even though there are no spots available.
